This restaurant is the perfect solution when you decide that you need a change from all that delicious Thai food: a French restaurant in the heart of the "entertainment" district of Bangkok. I had heard friends from Sweden praising this restaurant to the skies and for once, that praise proved 100% correct when I went for the first time and then returned numerous times. You can imagine yourself in France with the decor of the restaurant. The perfect host in Serge and excellent service from all the staff. The menu does change with what may be available locally, but the staples always remain. Great starters, including snails, perfect poached eggs and spinach, pâté and many more. Delicious main courses and desserts and all overseen by Serge. Very highly recommended! ~ Stephen B

Ayant apprécié "ancien" Bouchon pendant de nombreuses années, je ne peux livrer que des commentaires élogieux sur l'établissement de Sathorn. Le cadre y est raffiné, le personnel très professionnel, et Serge et Benjamin extrêmement attentifs au bien-être de leurs clients. Le Bouchon is an absolute gem! The cuisine is truly authentic and instantly brought back memories of my grandmother’s homemade French recipes. Every dish is prepared with care, using high-quality ingredients, yet the prices remain incredibly reasonable. What makes this place even more special is the outstanding team. A heartfelt thank you to Ben, Nadia, Matthieu, and the entire staff for their warm hospitality and genuine kindness. They make every visit feel personal and welcoming. Being over 9,400 km away from France, it’s rare to find a place that feels so much like home. Le Bouchon has managed to recreate not only the flavors of France but also its warmth and soul. Un patron Lyonnais. Serge une figure qui tient un établissement de bonne qualité. Plats Thay et Français. 😁 je 4conseille vivement .De nouveau cette dans cet établissement incontournable pour tous les Épicuriens .une soupe VGE revisité au crabe et langouste en croûte. 如何わしいエリアにたたずむ、年季の入ったカジュアルフレンチ。カウンターもあり、飲むだけでも使えそう。食事のメニューもワインリストもしっかりしてます。この日はニコスサラダ、自家製ダックパティ、チキンのほうれん草詰め、仔牛のフィレにデザート。どれも秀逸で美味しい。そして付け合せのパンも最高に美味しいので、是非食べていただきたい。デザートも本格的で、甘さ控えめの口直しにピッタリ。このエリアでは珍しい、かなり使い勝手のいいお店です。 ~ トロえもん

Oh, I cannot describe how joyful I was. A weekend lunch with friends was way too happy this time. Ambience of the place is clean and cozy. The ladies who took our orders were nice and well knowledge on what they were serving. The food was fun and exciting for us who do not had much of French cuisine. Cheese board was my favourite, and the poached pear as condiment will be my darling for a long time. Onion soup was very on point. Duck confit was good as I expected. Trout meuniere was new for us to try, fluffy fish with light sauce. Ratatouille was so good that one girl who hates veggies were actually enjoying it. One of my girls were so obsessed with the desserts she kept talking of them even we left the restaurant. ~ An T

Le Bouchon is still the favorite/reliable French restaurant in Bangkok for me. The place has been running for 24 years this year (2020) and hope it will do another 10, 20 more years. Some of the items that we always get Starters: - Escargots - Warm Goat Cheese Salad - Artichoke Hearts with Anchovies & Parmesan - Liver Pate Mains: - Lamb Shank in white beans (a must) - Steak Tartare - Beef Cheek - Rack of Lamb Desserts: - Poached Pear - Cheese Board - Chocolate Mousse If you are lucky, they might have “Picon” at the bar. “Picon et Bière” is my go to drink. Serge “Papa” has been doing an incredible work with the spot. And the kitchen team is dope. Glad to see them in the kitchen space every time. Merci! *** Update: New location with new menu items. Супер! Очень вкусно и уютно. Порции большие, перед едой еще дают комплименты от шеф повара. Управляющий француз и очень милый, со всеми гостями был очень приветлив. Le 24 décembre 2024 je me suis régalé dans ce beau restaurant. Benjamin le copropriétaire était très accueillant et ces conseils était en or. D’ailleurs lui et son associé Serge sont la clé de la réussite. Le service impeccable et l’ambiance juste magnifique. Je recommande ce restaurant avec les yeux fermés ~ Mohamed E

A very big ''YES''. It's a little part of Paris in this lovely street of Bangkok. Living in Bangkok from 10 years, after an excellent lunch, I crossed the threshold of the door on my way out and immediately thought: ''I forgot I was in Thailand... And this bistro could exactly be one of my favourites even in Paris.'' everything is so... True. So natural. So respecting the using of Paris, so inspiring. I'll come back, naturally, certainly. And I won't forget to bring my ''Madame'' with me. It's such a nice place for a lunch or a dinner in love, with the one... You love. The presentation of the food is so... French-Parisian, so careful. If you’re looking for a French atmosphere while in Bangkok, this restaurant is definitely the place to go. From the moment you step inside, the design makes you feel like you’ve been transported to France. The food was amazing. We started with fresh oysters as a cold starter and escargot as a hot starter. . both were excellent. For the main course, I ordered the Black Angus MB5 tenderloin and the beef Wellington, and they were absolutely outstanding. We ended the meal with a delicious soufflé, which was the perfect way to close my first day of the New Year. J'avais lu des avis, comme j'aime vérifier personnellement, je m'y suis rendu et je confirme que c'est un super bon moment que j'ai eu la chance de passer. Еда божественная. Это прямо топ в Бангоке. Французская кухня в которой вкусно всё (помидоры не очень и чай в пакетиках)! Баранина австралийская фантастического вкуса. Кролик бесподобный. Super accueil. Un bon échange avec le directeur en fin de repas et le digestif offert. Je recommande ce restaurant que nous avons découvert par hasard sans savoir quel type de cuisine. Surprise avec la carte, pas de plats thai 😂.La salade d endives et le magret, un vrai régal 😋. ~ HUBERT G
